MOTORSPORT ETSEIB is a engineering project from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia for the Formula Student competition, the Motorsport Eitseib has developed a racing car that competes with other universities from other countries.
Formula Student is one of the most important platforms for the promotion and training of future professionals in the engine, hosted by members of the International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies (FISITA), with the collaboration of companies like Airbus, Autodesk, Dassault Sistems, Honda Racing F1 Team, Learning Grid, National Instruments, RS Components and Shell. In this edition, the Circuit de Catalunya joins other European countries such as Germany, Austria, Italy and the United Kingdom and other countries like Australia, Brazil, Korea, USA, Japan and soon China.
The team of students from the UPC has developed and evolved the car CAT03, a motor vehicle motorcycle 4-stroke 4-cylinder, 2.73 meters long and weighing 240 kilos.
