Resistant to wear and tear. It is provided in austenitic or hyper-tempered annealing status. Resistance to abrasion is correct although other features such as behaviour against folding are lower.
It can be welded through the procedure of resistance or arc with manganese-nickel austenitic steel electrodes, with a very short arc.
Applications:
Hammers, gags, coating plaques in mills and crushing machines, coating on balls, automatic steel blasting machines, bulldozer parts, chains, mills, hammers for the concrete industry, pottery and mining, railroad track switchers, wear plaques, etc.
