Welding has to be done before or after tempering, through ordinary methods on the thin plates without previous preheating. The welding hardness in this case is lower than in the parts to be welded, but the junction is strong and flexible.
Applications:
Mining industry, public works, agricultural machinery, moulds for concrete pre-cast, specialized ladles, etc., and in those building process where resistance to wear and tear and abrasion is required together with good toughness and improvement of the manufacturing processes.
